You should consult your physician or other health care professional before starting this or any other exercise or fitness program to determine if it is right for your needs. This is particularly true if you (or your family) have a history of high blood pressure or heart disease, or you have ever experienced chest pain when exercising or have experienced chest pain in the past month when not engaged in physical activity, smoke, have high cholesterol, are obese, or have bone or joint problems that could be made worse by a change in physical activity or movement. Do not start any of these physical activities if your physician or health care provider advises against it. If you experience pain, numbness, faintness, dizziness, or shortness of breath at any time while exercising, you should stop immediately.

Feeling Pain?
If you experience any pain while doing the assessments or exercises on this site, please pay attention to it! Do not fear this pain. Pain is how our bodies tells us that something is not right. Please acknowledge this pain and if it does not start to improve within a week, consult with your physician or other health care professional, like a physical therapist who can do a more in-depth and thorough assessment of your medical history and mobility.
I believe that the body always tries to heal itself if you let it. I do not believe that, because we are getting older, our bodies just become stiff, and you must live with aches and pains. I believe most of the stiffness, aches, and pains we feel are due to the mindless, repetitive, and habitual habits that we do throughout our day. Once we are made aware, we can stop these habits and allow our bodies to heal.
